TO "OFFICIATING" CLINIC
The clinic specifically presents an introduction to the basic elements of three
officiating roles: the LINE UMPIRE, the CHAIR UMPIRE,
and the ROVING UMPIRE

| Criteria For Entrance: |
Participants must be 16
years of age. |

$0.00 (Tennis Canada recommended fee is
$30.00) (Each participant will receive a copy of the Canadian rulebook "Rules
of the Court" and an Officials Manual). |

| Clinician: |
Lois Ker (Vancouver, BC) is a National
Level Trainer/Evaluator with Tennis Canada and is an ITF White Badge Chief of
Officials. Lois has trained numerous officials, several of whom are now
working nationally and internationally. |

| Clinic Content: |
The Introduction to "Officiating" Clinic
is an entry-level training clinic, designed to introduce new officials to the
Rules of Tennis, the Code of Conduct, and the basic techniques of officiating.
It is also recommended for officials who have not been active in the past
two years, or who would like a refresher of rules, regulations and procedures.
