Registration is open for the Meadow Lake 4.5, 3.5 tournament, taking place August 23-25, 2019 at the Meadow Lake Tennis Club. The event will feature draws in Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, as well as Mixed Doubles, in both divisions (note: Tournament Organizers reserve the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries). Players may enter a maximum of two events with the entry fees as follows: 1st Event: $40, 2nd Event: $20. Entry fees include dinner on Saturday evening (note: extra meal tickets are available to non-players for $20 (payable at the tournament)).
Registration is open now and runs until Tuesday, August 20 at 11:59 PM. Late entries may be accepted, provided the draws have not been made. Late entries are subject to a $20 late registration fee. Players must register through the online system and can do so at the event’s Tennis Canada Tournament Profile: Meadow Lake 4.5, 3.5 – 2019. Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times and can do so by checking online or by phoning 306-304-7628. Draw times will be available Thursday, August 22, after 6:00 PM. Play will begin Friday at 6:00 PM for local players and those available to play on Friday.
Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the tie-break at 6 all. Consolation events will be held. However, the Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches. Consolation event results will be used for ranking purposes. Players playing in 2 events may be required to play more than 3 matches/day. For a full list of rules and regulations, click here.
