U12 Prairie Regional Qualifying Tournament – Winnipeg, MB

The U12 prairie regional qualifying event was held July 6 – 9 at the Canoe Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Representing Saskatchewan at the qualifying event were 8 year olds Lily Wiebe of Saskatoon, and Quin Pon of Regina. Also participating were 10 year olds, Kendell Pon and Jeremy Foley of Regina. Danny Da Costa coached the prairie team at the event.

Lily Wiebe qualified for U12 Canadian Junior Nationals by finishing 2nd. Lily lost in straight sets to Jade Kristen of Winnipeg in the final. Kendell Pon, narrowly qualified for the nationals finishing 5th respectively. While, Quin Pon and Jeremy Foley both of Regina finished 6th and 7th respectively.
