Anna Nelke & Jordan Christiansen Sweep the 2005 Prairie Regional Indoor Selection Events
Anna Nelke of Regina & Jordan Christiansen of Saskatoon captured their 3rd consecutive selection event, Tennis Saskatchewan Indoor Jr. Provincial Open held at the Advantage Tennis Centre March 3 – 6, 2005.
Anna Nelke captured the U16 girls event defeating Anita Paskavalin of Winnipeg in the girls final. Jordan Christiansen captured his 3rd selection event defeating Eric Yee of Saskatoon in a hard fought match.
Saskatchewan players captured 5 out of 8 events including. Ronan Conlon of Saskatoon defeated rival Brad Luciuk of Saskatoon in 3 sets in the Boys U18 final. Adrian Urteaga won the boys U16 event defeating Alex Lesiuk of Winnipeg in 3 sets. While, 9 year old Lily Wiebe won her 2nd selection event defeating Evann Waschuk of Winnipeg in straight sets.
