From February 8-10, 2019, Lakewood Indoor Tennis Centre in Saskatoon will host the Prairie Regional Indoor Junior Open. The event will feature draws in Boy’s and Girl’s Singles in the following age categories: U10 Future Stars, U12, U14, U16, U18. The tournament will also feature “Combined” Doubles (two boys, two girls, or one boy and one girl) in U14 and U18 age categories. The U10 Future Stars division will feature singles draws in both 3/4 Court Orange Ball and Full Court Green Ball. The U12 division will feature draws in Tier 1 Regulation Ball and Tier 2 Green Ball, both playing full court. The U14 division will feature draws in Tier 1 and Tier 2, both playing full court regulation ball. Tier 2 events are intended for players with less tournament experience who are newer to competition. (Note: tournament organizers may cancel or combine events due to the number of entries.) Players may enter a maximum of 2 events with entry fees as follows: $45 first event, $20 second event.

Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the tie-break at 6 all.  Consolation events will be held.  However, the Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches. Players must be prepared to play all days of the tournament. Registration is open now and runs until Tuesday, February 5 at 11:59 pm. Late entries will not be accepted. Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline, but before the draws are posted, will be issued a refund of their entry fees, less a $10.00 administration fee.
