- This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Saskatchewan.
- All Coaches, Parents, Players, Officials, Spectators, etc. must abide by the rules and regulations of the Host Club / Facility.
- All competitors MUST be a Tennis Saskatchewan Tournament member or a member of another recognized Provincial, Territorial, or National Tennis Association.
- Events: Men / Women – Singles / Doubles – 5.0, 4.5, 4.0 & 3.5 … Mixed Doubles – 8.5 Combined, 7.5 Combined (based on the Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide – Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide) (example: 7.5 – if one player is a 4.0 player, the other player must be a 3.5 or lower player). Tennis Saskatchewan reserves the right to change players events based on National Bank Rankings and/or World Tennis Number Ratings. - Female players must ensure their first event is a women’s event. A mixed doubles event will be considered a women’s event … If a female player only enters one event, that event must be a women’s event. The second event may then be a male event.
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries (i.e. events may be combined).
- Entry Fees: $45.00 1st event, $20.00 2nd event – No Saturday evening meal associated with this tournament at this time (should this change, the Host Committee to notify participants before hand).
- Entry Limit: 2 events
- Entry Deadline: Friday, July 4 – 11:59 p.m. … Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed. Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $30.00 late registration fee
- Players who withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline will receive a refund of 75% of their entry fees.
- Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline will be defaulted from the tournament, will not receive a refund of their entry fees.
- Draw Times Available: Tuesday, July 8 – after 7:00 p.m. by calling Warren Aguinaldo at 639-840-3563 or by going on-line.
- Play Will Begin: Friday, July 11 – 6:00 p.m. (All players must be prepared to play on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.)
- Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the 3rd set being a 10 point deciding match tie-break. Consolation events will be held, subject to court availability. The Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches.
- No indoor courts available. Main draw matches to be played before consolation events.
- Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times.
- Players may be required to play more than 3 matches per day.
- Matches will be played on a “to-follow basis”.
- The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced.
- Tennis Canada disciplinary procedures will be enforced. The rule book “Rules of the Court” sets out the rules, regulations, and format to be followed in Sanctioned Tournaments. All Sanctioned Tournaments will be carried out according to these regulations.
- Wilson U.S. Open XD tennis balls will be used.
- Proper tennis attire is required during matches.
