Friday, August 15 at 11:59 p.m. Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed. Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $30.00 late registration fee.All tournament participants must register on-line using the VR Tournament Planner – Tennis Canada’s tournament management system (www.tournamentsoftware.com is a product of Visual Reality). Cost of an annual Tennis Saskatchewan membership is $15.00 per player (non-Saskatchewan players/members must purchase memberships through their applicable provincial/territorial tennis association). - This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Saskatchewan.
- All coaches, parents, players, officials, and spectators must abide by the rules and regulations of the Lakeshore Tennis Club.
- All competitors must be a Tennis Saskatchewan Tournament member or a member of another recognized Provincial, Territorial, or National Tennis Association.
- Events:
Men’s and Women’s / Singles and Doubles – Open, 4.5, 4.0 and 3.5
Mixed Doubles – Open, 7.5 & Below Combined and 6.5 & Below Combined
(based on the Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide – Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide) (example: 7.5 – if one player is a 4.0 player, the other player must be a 3.5 or lower player).

- The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries (i.e., events may be combined).
- Tennis Saskatchewan reserves the right to change a player’s event based on National Bank Rankings and/or World Tennis Number Ratings. If you require clarification, please contact Tennis Saskatchewan at (306) 780-9410
- Female players must ensure their first event is a women’s event. A mixed doubles event will be considered a women’s event. If a female player only enters one event, that event must be a women’s event.
- Entry Limit: 2 events
- Entry Restrictions: If registering for two events, the events must be a combination of singles, doubles, or mixed doubles. For example, a player cannot register for two singles events.
- Local players entering two events must be available to play on Friday.
- Players entering 2 events may be required to play more than 3 matches per day.
- Entry Fees: $35.00 1st event, $25.00 2nd event
- Entry Deadline: Friday, August 15 at 11:59 p.m. Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed. Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $30.00 late registration fee.
- Players who withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline will receive a refund of 75% of their entry fees.
- Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline will be defaulted from the tournament and will not receive a refund of their entry fees.
- Draw Times Available: Tuesday, August 19after 7:00 p.m. Draw times will be posted on the tournament’s page on https://tc.tournamentsoftware.com/
- Play Will Begin: Friday, August 22 – 5:00 p.m. All players must be prepared to play on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
- Lakeshore Tennis Club has partnered with Delta Hotels Regina to secure a special group rate for players registering for the Lakeshore Summer Classic tournament. Rooms can be booked for $149 per night, which includes breakfast and above-ground parking.
- Tournament players can book their special rate here.
- The last day to book is Sunday, August 10th.
- Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the 3rd set being a 10-point deciding match tie-break. Consolation events will be held, subject to court availability.
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches.
- No indoor courts available. Main draw matches to be played before consolation events.
- Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times.
- Matches will be played on a “to-follow basis”.
- The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced.
- Tennis Canada disciplinary procedures will be enforced. The rule book “Rules of the Court” sets out the rules, regulations, and format to be followed in Sanctioned Tournaments. All Sanctioned Tournaments will be carried out according to these regulations.
- Wilson U.S. Open XD tennis balls will be used.
- Proper tennis attire is required during matches.
