- This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Saskatchewan.
- All Coaches, Parents, Players, Officials, Spectators, etc. must abide by the rules and regulations of the Host Club / Facility.
- All competitors MUST be a Tennis Saskatchewan Tournament member or a member of another recognized Provincial, Territorial, or National Tennis Association.
- Events: Men / Women – Singles / Doubles – Open, 4.5, 4.0 & 3.5 … Mixed Doubles – Open, 7.5 Combined, 6.5 Combined (based on the Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide – Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide) (example: 7.5 – if one player is a 4.0 player, the other player must be a 3.5 or lower player). Tennis Saskatchewan reserves the right to change players events based on National Bank Rankings and/or World Tennis Number Ratings. - Female players must ensure their first event is a women’s event. A mixed doubles event will be considered a women’s event … If a female player only enters one event, that event must be a women’s event. The second event may then be a male event.
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries (i.e. events may be combined).
- Entry Fees: $30.00 1st event, $25.00 2nd event (No meal included with entry fees)
- Entry Limit: 2 events … Players are limited to one singles event … Players entering two events must be available to play on Friday … Players entering 2 events may be required to play more than 3 matches per day.
- Entry Deadline: Friday, June 27 – 11:59 p.m. … Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed. Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $30.00 late registration fee
- Players who withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline will receive a refund of 75% of their entry fees.
- Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline will be defaulted from the tournament, will not receive a refund of their entry fees, and will receive one suspension point (with no appeal allowed).
- Draw Times Available: Tuesday, July 1 – after 7:00 p.m. (available on-line or by phoning 306-242-5584).
- Play Will Begin: Friday, July 4 – 6:00 p.m. (All players must be prepared to play on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.)
- Draw Sizes: Draws may be limited to 16 players per event (8 doubles teams) (subject to change based on entries, weather, and court availability)
- Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the 3rd set being a 10 point deciding match tie-break. Consolation events will be held, subject to court availability. The Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches.
- No indoor courts available. Main draw matches to be played before consolation events.
- Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times.
- Players must be prepared to play all days of the tournament!
- Matches will be played on a “to-follow basis”.
- The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced.
- Tennis Canada disciplinary procedures will be enforced. The rule book “Rules of the Court” sets out the rules, regulations, and format to be followed in Sanctioned Tournaments. All Sanctioned Tournaments will be carried out according to these regulations.
- Wilson U.S. Open XD tennis balls will be used.
- Proper tennis attire is required during matches.
