In lieu of prizes for the event winners, all tournament participants will be eligible for multiple random draws for tennis merchandise, including racquets and bags

  • This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Saskatchewan.
  • All competitors MUST be a Tennis Saskatchewan Tournament “Player” member or a member of another recognized Provincial or National Tennis Association.
  • All Coaches, Parents, Players, Officials, Spectators, etc. must abide by the restrictions / protocols of the  Host Club / Facility.
  • Events:  Men’s, Women’s, Mixed & Junior Doubles
  • Junior players between ages 14 – 18 will register for ‘Junior Competitive’ and Junior players under 14 will register as ‘Junior Developmental’.
  • Players will be entered in events based on the combined World Tennis Number rating. Players who do not have a rating will be entered into an event(s) at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
  • Entry Limit:  Players are limited to participating in two events. A maximum of one men’s / women’s and one mixed event.  Junior players will enter the tournament as individuals only and will be assigned a partner and entered into an appropriate event category at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Junior players between ages 14 – 18 will register for ‘Junior Competitive’ and Junior players under 14 will register as ‘Junior Developmental’. Junior ‘Developmental’ Players are limited to registering for one event.  A maximum of 48 adult doubles entries will be enforced.
  • Entry Fee:  $69.00 1 Event, $99.00 2 Events
  • Entry Deadline:  Friday, May 8 – 11:59 p.m.  Early registration is encouraged.
  • Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed.  Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $20.00 late registration fee.
  • Players who withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline will receive a refund of their entry fees, less a $20.00 administration fee.
  • Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline will be defaulted from the tournament and will not receive a refund of their entry fees.
  • Draws and draw times available online:  Monday, May 11 – by 6:00 p.m.  ALL LOCAL PLAYERS MUST BE PREPARED TO PLAY THEIR FIRST MATCH ON FRIDAY, MAY 15  … PLAYERS PARTICIPATING IN TWO EVENTS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY A MINIMUM OF ONE MATCH ON FRIDAY, MAY 15.
  • Play will begin Friday, May 15 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times.
  • Matches will be played on a “to-follow basis”.
  • All matches will use No-ad scoring … Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the 3rd set being a 10 point deciding match tie-break.  Consolation events will be held, subject to court and time availability.  The Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches
  • The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced

  • Players playing 2 events may be required to play more than four matches per day.
  • The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced.
  • Tennis Canada disciplinary procedures will be enforced.  The rule book “Rules of the Court” sets out the rules, regulations, and format to be followed in Sanctioned Tournaments.  All Sanctioned Tournaments will be carried out according to these regulations.
  • Wilson tennis balls will be used.
  • Proper tennis attire is required.
