Former Tennis Saskatchewan athlete Mitch McIntyre was a big winner at The Birmingham National Wheelchair Tennis Championships. The event took place in Bedford, Nova Scotia and crowned the top wheelchair players in the country.

McIntyre, who was born, raised and started playing wheelchair tennis in Saskatchewan before moving to Vancouver, was one of three players to win a pair of titles as he captured both singles and doubles gold in the quads division.

The two victories were McIntyre’s first at the Birmingham Nationals.

Tennis Saskatchewan would like to congratulate Mitch on an incredible performance!
