Registration is open for the Riverside Autumn Open, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5 tournament, taking place September 6 – 8, 2019 at the Riverside Badminton & Tennis Club in Saskatoon. The event will feature draws in Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, as well as Mixed Doubles, in all divisions (note: Tournament Organizers reserve the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries). Players may enter a maximum of 3 events (if playing no more than 1 singles event) or 2 events (if playing 2 singles events) with the entry fees as follows: 1st Event: $30, 2nd Event: $15, 3rd Event: $15.

Registration is open now and runs until Tuesday, September 3 at 11:59 PM. Late entries may be accepted, provided the draws have not been made. Late entries are subject to a $20 late registration fee. Players must register through the online system and can do so at the event’s Tennis Canada Tournament Profile: Riverside Autumn Open – September 2019. Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times and can do so by checking online or by phoning 306-242-5584. Draw times will be available Thursday, September 5, after 7:00 PM. Play will begin Friday at 6:00 PM. If you plan to play 3 events or 2 Single events, to give yourself the best chance of success, it is recommended that you make yourself available to play on Friday night. Otherwise, the time gap between matches on Saturday may not be as long as you might hope, especially if you happen to have a particularly tough match. Play will begin as early as 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday (please indicate availability when registering on-line).

Unless otherwise cleared with the Tournament Director, everyone is expected to be available to play anytime Saturday or Sunday.

Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the tie-break at 6 all. Consolation events will be held.  However, the Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches.  Consolation event results will be used for ranking purposes. Players playing in 2 events may be required to play more than 3 matches/day. For a full list of rules and regulations, click here.
