A strong summer at home events helped earn the 20-year-old a spot on Team Canada for the first time in his career, filling in for the injured Diallo.

Regina’s Keegan Rice enjoyed a breakout 2026 season, making an impact at both the collegiate and professional levels.

The University of Virginia sophomore posted a 35-6 singles record and helped the Cavaliers capture the NCAA Division I national team title, finishing the season ranked No. 12 nationally in singles.

Rice carried that momentum onto the professional circuit this summer, reaching his first pro final at the M25 event in Laval, Quebec, before advancing to the semifinals of the ATP Challenger event in Vancouver — the best Challenger result of his career to date.
