  • This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Saskatchewan.
  • All players, parents, coaches, officials, and spectators must abide by the rules and regulations of the Lakeshore Tennis Club. 
  • All competitors must be a Tennis Saskatchewan Tournament member or a member of another recognized Provincial, Territorial, or National Tennis Association.
  • Events:
    • Men’s Singles and Doubles – Open, 4.5, 4.0 and 3.5
    • Women’s Singles and Doubles – Open, 4.5, 4.0 and 3.5
    • Mixed Doubles – Open, 7.5 & Below Combined and 6.5 & Below Combined (example: 7.5 – if one player is a 4.0 player, the other player must be a 3.5 or lower player)
  • Note: The Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide is the standard for determining player level for Tennis Saskatchewan sanctioned tournaments.
  • Tennis Saskatchewan reserves the right to change a player’s event based on National Bank Rankings and/or World Tennis Number Ratings.

  • Female players must ensure their first event is a women’s event. A mixed doubles event will be considered a women’s event. If a female player only enters one event, that event must be a women’s event. 
  • The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel or combine events due to insufficient entries.
  • Entry Fees:  $40.00 1st event, $30.00 2nd event
  • Entry Limit: 2 events. 
  • Entry Restrictions: If registering for two events, the events must be a combination of singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. For example, a player cannot register for two singles events. 
  • Draw Sizes: Singles draws will be limited to 16 players per event and doubles/mixed doubles draws will be limited to 8 teams (subject to change based on entries). Waitlists will be used within the online registration once an event’s limit has been reached. 
  • Play Will Begin: Friday, August 21 – 5:00 PM 
  • Regina based players must be available to play on Friday. All other players must be available to play at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning. 
  • Players entering 2 events may be required to play more than 3 matches per day. 
  • Entry Deadline: Friday, August 14 at 11:59 PM. Late entries may be accepted provided the draw has not been completed. Late entries that are accepted will be subject to a $30.00 late registration fee.
  • Players who withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline will receive a refund, less a $20.00 processing fee. 
  • Players who withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline will be defaulted from the tournament, will not receive a refund of their entry fee(s), and will receive one suspension point from Tennis Saskatchewan (with no appeal allowed). 
  • Draw Times Available:  Tuesday, August 18 after 7:00 PM. Draw times will be posted on the tournament’s page on https://tc.tournamentsoftware.com/ 
  • Main draw matches will be best of three sets with the 3rd set being a 10-point deciding match tie-break. Consolation events will be held, subject to court availability. 
  • The Tournament Director reserves the right to revert to an alternate method of scoring for both main draw and consolation draw matches.
  • No indoor courts available. Main draw matches to be played before consolation events.
  • Players are responsible for confirming their own draw times.
  • Players must be prepared to play all days of the tournament. 
  • Matches will be played on a “to-follow basis”.
  • The 15-minute default and 5-minute warm-up rules will be enforced.
  • Tennis Canada disciplinary procedures will be enforced. Rules of the Court sets out the rules, regulations, and format to be followed in Sanctioned Tournaments. All Sanctioned Tournaments will be carried out according to these regulations.
  • Wilson U.S. Open XD tennis balls will be used.
  • Proper tennis attire is required during matches.
