Regina’s Teah Chavez and Keegan Rice are competing at this week’s ITF J300 Indian Wells in California.

Rice, who had a first round bye on Monday due to being the tournament’s No. 4 seed, plays USA’s Krish Arora this morning.

Chavez lost 6-1, 6-0 in Monday’s first round to USA’s Jessica Bernales. But Chavez isn’t done yet as she’ll partner up with fellow Canadian Ellie Daniels in doubles action against Americans Allie Bittner and Thea Frodin in today’s late draw.
