Regina’s Keegan Rice is playing in the main draw of the ITF Australian Open Junior Championships after making it to the doubles quarter-finals in the J300 ITF Traralgon – AGL Loy Yang Traralgon Junior International. Rice, and doubles partner Roy Horovitz, USA, lost in the quarter-finals to the # 2 seeds, Poland’s Tomasz Berkieta and Cze’s Maxim Mrva (6-3, 6-3). In singles action, Rice lost a very close second round match to #10 seed, Petr Brunclik, Cze in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 7-5).
