If you haven’t already heard, Daniel Nestor, one of Canada’s most decorated athletes of all time, has been named on the ballot for the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024 in the Player category. This is his second year of eligibility after appearing on the ballot last year.

Daniel’s career achievements speak for themselves: 12 Grand Slam titles, an Olympic Gold medal, 100+ weeks as the No. 1 ranked doubles players, and nearly three decades dedicated to representing Canada on a global stage.

Tennis Canada and Tennis Saskatchewan need your help in spreading the word among Canadian tennis fans. There’s a fan voting component to the Hall of Fame’s process, and every vote for Daniel increases his chances of getting into the Hall of Fame.

The top three candidates in the fan vote will receive added percentage points to their vote totals from the Official Voting Group. To be elected to the Hall of Fame, a nominee must receive an affirmative vote of at least 75% or higher from the combined total of the Official Voting Group result and any bonus percentage points earned in the fan vote.

Fan voting for the Player Category will is already underway, and will conclude on Monday, October 9. We urge you to cast your vote for Daniel Nestor for the International Tennis Hall of Fame at https://vote.tennisfame.com/, and to spread the word as much as possible!

For everything Daniel has done for us on the court throughout his career, let’s now repay the favour to help get him enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
