Another day of tennis action is complete at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games, hosted by Swift Current, SK. The tennis format for the games is both a team and an individual competition. In the team competition, each province faces off against the others in Davis-Cup-style multi-match ties. Each tie is comprised of seven matches: two boys singles, two girls singles, one boys doubles, one girls doubles, and one mixed doubles.

After a late-day rainout yesterday, the team competition resumed this morning. In matches originally scheduled for yesterday, Team Saskatchewan defeated Team Northwest Territories seven matches to none, while Team Alberta defeated Team Manitoba seven matches to none. Later this morning, Team Saskatchewan faced Team Manitoba and won four matches to three, while Team Alberta defeated Team Northwest Territories seven matches to none.
